Finding a good art teacher in Miami sounds simple until you’re sitting in traffic on the 836, trying to get your kid across town for a 4 o’clock class. Then comes the group setting where your child gets five minutes of actual instruction and spends the rest of the time waiting. There’s a better way. We bring private, one-on-one art instruction directly to your home — all the supplies included, none of the logistics.
Private Art Instruction That Comes to You
Our mobile lesson format is exactly what it sounds like. We come to you — whether you’re in Coral Gables, Kendall, Palmetto Bay, or anywhere else across the Miami area — with everything needed for a full hour of focused, hands-on instruction. No supply runs, no drop-off coordination, no group of twenty kids competing for attention. Just your child and their teacher, working together at your kitchen table or wherever feels comfortable at home.
Lessons are available weekly or bi-weekly, and we work with students ages 5 and up, including adults who’ve always wanted to learn but never quite made the time.
What Lessons Actually Cover
We work in pencil, pastel, watercolor, and acrylics — not all at once, but introduced thoughtfully as skills build. The foundation of every lesson is drawing and composition. That might sound basic, but it’s the backbone of every medium. A student who understands how to see proportion, balance, and spatial relationships will grow faster and feel more confident across everything they create. From there, each medium opens up its own set of techniques and possibilities. It’s a real curriculum, not just a series of fun projects.
Skills Kids Build Beyond the Canvas
Parents often ask what their child is actually getting out of art lessons, and it’s a fair question. The obvious answer is artistic skill, but the less obvious answer is just as valuable. Working through a drawing or a watercolor piece requires a kid to slow down, observe carefully, and solve small problems as they go. That kind of focused thinking transfers directly into how they approach schoolwork and everyday challenges.
Fine motor coordination develops naturally through pencil work and brush control — something especially meaningful for younger students. Self-expression grows too, in a quiet, non-pressured way. When a child realizes they made something out of nothing, that confidence tends to stick.
Cognitive development, visual communication, creative problem-solving — these aren’t buzzwords. They’re real outcomes we watch happen over time with our students.
Miami Neighborhoods We Serve
We bring lessons directly to families across Miami-Dade, including Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest, South Miami, Doral, Kendall, West Kendall, The Hammocks, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, and Homestead. If you’re not sure whether we reach your neighborhood, just ask — we’re happy to let you know. Reach us at (305) 771-0595 or shoot us an email at artexpressions22@gmail.com and we’ll figure it out together.
Mobile Painting Parties in Miami
The same idea that makes private lessons work — we come to you — applies beautifully to group events. Our mobile painting parties are a genuinely fun option for birthday parties, date nights, anniversaries, team-building events, and casual get-togethers. We can host groups of up to 50 guests, and we handle every supply detail so you don’t have to think about a thing.
Each guest works on their own stretched canvas with step-by-step guidance throughout the event. Sessions run two to three hours, and everyone leaves with a finished painting they can actually hang on the wall. Color customization is available at no extra charge, so the palette can match your party theme or the guest of honor’s taste.
How to Book a Painting Party
Get in touch by phone or email and we’ll walk you through the details. The one thing to keep in mind is timing — we ask that events be booked at least two weeks in advance, and the sooner the better if you have a specific date in mind. A deposit is required to hold your date, and please note that deposits are non-refundable if the event is canceled. That policy helps us plan and show up prepared for your group.
